Two Open Water Swim Clinics on the course at lake Wilderness

We are proud to announce and introduce this clinic to help all participants of IRONMAN 70.3 Washington at Maple Valley, WA.
These two clinics will be done over two days, each day is a 2 hour clinical practice and instructions held at the IRONMAn Washington swim course.
Dates: Saturday & Sunday September 4th and 5th, 2021 (2 weeks before the race)
Location: Lake Wilderness Park, Maple Valley, WA
Duration: 2 Hours on Saturday and 2 hours on Sunday
Start Time: 8:00 AM
Price: $100 (for 2 days/4 hours)
What will you learn:
- How to improve your OWS stroke.
- How to conquer fears and anxieties
- How to swim straight and avoid zigzagging.
- How to perform deep stops and starts.
- How to change your goggles
- How to enter and exit the water
- How to swim with and around others.
- How to improve your breathing.
- How to improve your speed.
This is a supported swim. There will be a staff support in the water, as well as the coach , however, we take our participants safety very seriously, therefor, we will enforce the following rules for all participants to ensure a safe, enjoyable experience for all:
1- All participants must sign a medical waiver and a release.
2- All participants must demonstrate abilities to swim at least 1500 yards non-stop. This is not a clinic for people who are just learning to swim. For that, please look at our one on one OWS services.
3- All participants will wear and OWS buoy.
4- All participants must be 18 years or older. Younger participants must have their parent's permission in a written consent.
5- All participants must pay fully for the clinic fee.
