IRONMAN CERTIFIED COACH
IRONMAN U Certified Coach, Level 1
Recertified July 26, 2026. Valid through July 25, 2028.
IRONMAN U is IRONMAN's official coach education and certification program. IRONMAN U coaches recertify every two years to keep their certification active, and Coach Marques completed his latest recertification in July 2026.
ESCI CERTIFIED COACH
Endurance Sports Coaching Institute (ESCI)
Certified since December 2025. Valid through December 31, 2026.
ESCI is the coaching education institute behind TriDot. ESCI Certified Coaches are trained to coach with TriDot's data-driven training, which adjusts each athlete's plan to their fitness and to conditions like heat, humidity and elevation.
A CERTIFIED TRI CLUB
Strong2thefinishline, the club Coach Marques founded and leads as head coach, is a certified IRONMAN Tri Club and a USA Triathlon Certified Club. Local athletes train together through the year in Bellevue, Redmond, Issaquah, Kirkland and across the East Side of Seattle.
